WHAT: Help keep Crescent Beach clean with Save The Bay! Shoreline trash is ugly and dangerous to wildlife, and shoreline cleanups are a great way for volunteers to make a difference.
WHERE: Park at Rose Larisa Park, and meet at the gazebo. We will proceed to the access area at the opposite end of the park at the end of Beach Rd (see map for exact location) - so if you arrive late, look for us there! NOTE: There is no precise address for Rose Larisa Park, so you can enter Rose Larisa Park in your GPS, or use 700 Bullocks Point Ave, Riverside, RI 02915 (the carousel) and then look for Rose Larisa park on the OPPOSITE side of Bullocks Point Ave.
PREPARE FOR THE CLEANUP:
- REQUIRED: Review our Instructions & Safety Tips
- Always dress for the weather in sturdy, closed-toe shoes.
- Bring your own water - we recommend a reusable bottle!
- Optional: You may want to bring your own work gloves, trash grabber, or bucket for collecting trash.
- We will provide disposable gloves, trash bags, and hand sanitizer.
Registration notes:
- Pre-registration is required.
- Age requirements: Cleanups are recommended for ages 8+. Ages 16+ may participate independently; Ages 8-15 may participate with a parent or guardian. Parents with children will be asked to sign a family waiver at the event.

- If the cleanup is full, join the waitlist! Spaces often open up.
Need documentation of service hours? We provide confirmation letters upon request! Just ask your cleanup leader at the end of the event.
