Help us swab the decks! Come for a day of cleaning and scrubbing our beautiful public access pier on the Bay. We are preparing the pier for stenciling to indicate where it is safe to fish, and where it is not (due to the risk of entangling boat propellers) If we get lots of people we may add a bit of weeding and pruning in the areas around the pier as well.
Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and non-slip sneakers or sports sandals. If you have knee pads, feel free to bring those. We'll serve pizza for lunch! It's ok if you can only stay part of the day, just indicate that in the notes when you sign up.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Our address is 100 Save The Bay Drive, Providence, RI. Access to the building is through the Johnson & Wales Harborside Campus main entrance, which is Harborside Blvd. Your GPS may direct you to enter the campus via ErnestSt/Shipyard Drive, but you need a key card to get in that way. Ignore any directions to turn onto Ernest St and instead proceed to Harborside Blvd.
