Learn to be a Community Cleanup Leader! Frustrated by litter in your community? Want to help your neighbors mobilize to do something about it? At our trainings you will learn the nuts and bolts of how to lead a community cleanup. You'll have the opportunity to put those skills into practice by joining Save The Bay's team of volunteer cleanup leaders - or you can be a leader in your own organization! Perfect for scout leaders, students with service projects, environmental or community organizations, corporate volunteer coordinators, or anyone who just wants a cleaner environment! Cleanup leadership is appropriate for volunteers 12+ years old, but any cleanup leaders under 18 must have an adult as a co-leader.
Because this training is early in the season we will be hosting a practice cleanup on March 31st from 1-3 PM. This will get rid of any nerves you might have when leading a cleanup and have all your questions answered.
