PHOTOGRAPHERS: Donate your time and talents to help document Save The Bay’s biggest summer fundraising events - Taste of the Bay and The Swim! These events are important moments for Save The Bay each year, and the photos captured help us not only recap the events, but also promote future programs, fundraising efforts, and community engagement. We’re looking for volunteers who are comfortable using their own camera equipment and photographing live events in a candid, professional, and energetic way. Please fill out the interest form to apply for this volunteer role. Must be 18+ for Swim and 21+ for Taste of the Bay.
Volunteer photographers will be asked to:
- Bring their own camera, lenses, and batteries
- Shoot in RAW format for maximum post production flexibility
- Photograph key moments, details, and candid interactions throughout the event
- Set their camera date and time correctly before the event
- Return the provided SD card to Save The Bay at the end of the event
Save The Bay will provide SD cards at the start of the event. After the event, our team will organize, cull, and edit the images. Photographers are welcome to request their RAW files afterward for portfolio use. *By volunteering, photographers agree that Save The Bay will have full usage rights to the images for promotional and organizational purposes.
What volunteers receive:
Taste of the Bay: Admission to enjoy the event, including food and drink from local vendors
The Swim: A volunteer Save The Bay Swim shirt and entry to the after party with food, drinks, and dessert
