Volunteer for the Pell Bridge Run! The Citizens Bank Pell Bridge Run is a 4 mile run/walk produced by the Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority. A portion of the profits will go to support Save The Bay!
WHAT: Save The Bay volunteers will staff a water station for event participants to keep them hydrated during the event!
WHERE: Volunteers will meet near the overpass on JT Connell Highway in Newport, RI. See map for exact location. Parking is on the side of the road where the park and ride is on JT Connell Highway.
WHEN: Sunday, October 20, 6:45 - 8:30am
REGISTRATION: Register on our portal by clicking the red "respond" button. You will then receive an email follow-up with instructions from race coordinator, Claire Akin.
NOTES:
- Team signup is not enabled for this need. If you are interested in signing up a team, they can register individually or contact July Lewis at jlewis@savebay.org for more information.
- This role is open to ages 18+.
- There is an additional waiver that will need to be handed in to race organizers on the day of the event. We will send this ahead of time to registered volunteers.
