What do popsicle sticks have to do with the Swim? They are an important part of our tracking system to account for every swimmer’s time and the fact that they are safely out of the water! This team will take the popsicle sticks from the swimmers at the shore. Two team members will write the swimmer participant number clearly and correctly on the popsicle stick, while the rest will assist by holding bins, collecting sticks, etc. YOU MUST HAVE WATER SHOES for this role. The Popsicle Stick Team's volunteer shirts are bright pink so they can be easily seen by the swimmers.
All Jamestown volunteers will also help with beach setup and breakdown.
