WHAT: Join Save The Bay and Conimicut Village Association for a cleanup at Conimicut Point Marsh! Shoreline trash is ugly and dangerous to wildlife, and shoreline cleanups are a great way for volunteers to make a difference. NOTE: This is a marsh cleanup - looking for hardy volunteers (age 16+) who are prepared for brushy areas and mud!
WHERE: Meet at the corner of Point Ave & Ellery St. Use 137 Point Ave, Warwick, RI as an approximate address for GPS.
PREPARE FOR THE CLEANUP:
- REQUIRED: Review our Instructions & Safety Tips
- Always dress for the weather in sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Boots are a good idea at this site!
- Bring your own water - we recommend a reusable bottle!
- Optional: You may want to bring your own work gloves, trash grabber, or bucket for collecting trash.
- We will provide disposable gloves, trash bags, and hand sanitizer.
Registration notes:
- Pre-registration is required.
- Age requirements: This cleanup is recommended for ages 16+.
- Team volunteering: Signing up as a team? See our Team Signup page for helpful information!
- If the cleanup is full, join the waitlist! Spaces often open up.
