If you care about Warwick's shores and want to keep them clean, join our Preservation Network! The network is a group of trained Save The Bay cleanup leaders and volunteers who support the many cleanups we do around Warwick. Some members serve as cleanup leaders - planning cleanups, picking up supplies, leading cleanups including delivering the "welcome and safety speech." Others support and assist the leader at cleanups. It's up to you!
At this meeting, we will provide cleanup leadership training for new members, finalize plans for spring and summer cleanups. and socialize and have fun! New members will be added to an email list and will receive emails about upcoming cleanups in Warwick. Pizza will be served!
We are especially looking for members interested in leading cleanups at Oakland Beach. Other sites we frequently clean up are Salter Grove and Conimicut Point.
Please note: This opportunity is not eligible for court ordered community service.
