WHAT: Join Save The Bay, the Wood-Pawcatuck Wild and Scenic Rivers Stewardship Council (https://wpwildrivers.org/), and the Town of Exeter to install a rain garden of native plants at the Exeter Town Hall. We are looking for folks to join us for one or two days of planting. The first day will involve removing invasive plants, daffodils, and the topsoil in the area where the garden will be. The second day will be planting native trees and shrubs, laying landscaping fabric, and installing aluminum edging around the garden. Volunteers must be comfortable bending, kneeling and doing general garden work.
WHEN: Wednesday May 17: 9 am - 1 pm; and May 18: 9 am - 1 pm and 1 pm - 4 pm. It is fine to sign up for multiple shifts!
WHERE: Exeter Town Hall, 675 Ten Rod Rd, Exeter, RI 02822
