Come help us restore the dunes at Easton's Beach in Newport! We will be restoring dune habitat by planting American beach grass (Ammophila brevigulata). While this project is scheduled for 10 am to 3 pm, it is fine to come for just part of that time. Volunteers will check in at the Exploration Center & Aquarium.
Please dress for the weather - it is often colder and windier at the beach! You may want to bring your own reusable gloves and knee pads, if you have them.
We will have pizza for lunch! Please bring your own reusable bottle of water to save the planet! :-)
