September 14-15, 2019
The 4 Bridges Ride, sponsored by the Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority, is a 26-mile charity ride that allows cyclists an opportunity to cross the Verrazzano, Pell, Sakonnet and Mt. Hope Bridges. The event will be held on September 15, 2019 starting in North Kingstown and finishing on the campus of Roger Williams University in Bristol. Volunteers are needed to support this event!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: Saturday, Sept. 14
- Bike Drop Off - Assist participants with unloading bikes from cars and placing in correct locations for race on the following day. This is at the Boston Neck Rd Park & Ride off Rt 138. See MAP for precise location. (12-5 PM)
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: Sunday, Sept. 15
- Starting Line / Bike Pick-up - Especially needed! Sign up new riders and hand out bib numbers to pre-registered riders. Assist riders to the starting line. This is at the Boston Neck Rd Park & Ride off Rt 138. See MAP for precise location. (5:30-7:30 AM)
- Shuttle Loading - Especially needed! Assist riders in parking cars and getting onto the shuttles to the start line. At 1 Old Ferry Rd, Bristol. (4:30-6:15 AM)
- Water Filling Stop - Assist riders in filling up their water bottles at the half way point on the ride. The water stop will be located on the corner of Burma Rd and Green Ln in Middletown. (7-9:30 AM)
- Finish Line - Help to set up finish area, followed by handing out shirts / water / food to riders. A few volunteers from this team may assist with directing cyclists near the Sakonnet Bridge bike path. At 1 Old Ferry Rd, Bristol. (7-10:30 AM)
